St. Paddy’s special corned beef sandwich and tater tots were our go to for the take out! Couldn’t decide on which BBQ sauce so tried them all, do not pick the spicy one if you cannot handle heat. Our service was pretty fast during the order process by the cashier and getting the order out by the server, so no complaints there. Only thing is food is a bit pricey but definitely delicious! Restaurant is nice to also dine in but we didn’t have that experience.

I'll talk about the vibe first. Music was on point. The decor was nice inside and it was packed. To our surprise, they had a patio area with large tables, a TV and speakers to hear the music from inside. So that, was a win. This is the reason we stopped. The service was okay. The person who greeted us was great. Friendly, approachable and funny. He gave us our menu and gave us direction on where to go to order. The guy taking our order, he started off nice enough and then ended up being dry. Asked how we can get to the patio and didn't even bother to speak. Just pointed to the direction and we just had to figure it out. Now the food. We ordered the two meat combo, brisket and chicken. It came with two sides which we picked dirty mac and cheese and cornbread. This was super disappointing. The chicken was dry and tough. The skin felt like plastic when trying to cut into it and the seasoning was weak. The brisket, dry and hardly any flavor. The dirty mac and cheese and the cornbread saved the meal for me, since I couldn't eat the meats. Our family ordered the kale greens and again, it lacked seasoning. I don't see myself coming back but my wife and cousin didn't mind it. So, ultimately, it's all about the preference.

I used to live around the block but moved two years ago and haven’t been here in awhile. Food was equally delicious but both the portion has gotten smaller and the price has gone up. Bartenders are awesome and food was good. Included pic of my to-go loaded Mac ($14+)

The food was awesome and the waitress was very very nice and polite. My son took me a lunch for my birthday I had one drink and we both had some really good food I had pulled pork and he had brisket and I would recommend this place to anybody they make their own barbecue sauce and it's super super good. My son bought me some barbecue sauce cuz they do sell it. It was $5 but well worth it.

3.5 stars - this place is smaller than it looks from the outside. It is a mix of bar and booth seating. They have a limited menu in which you can choose individual items or a meal. We got the meal with the brisket, ribs and side of collard greens and Mac and cheese. For drinks, we got a beer and a cider. The brisket was pretty good. The ribs were great. There is a BBQ place we love in San Diego, so we compare everything to that (Grand Ole BBQ ye asado). This brisket was decent but not as good as theirs. The ribs were far superior here. The beer and cider were good overall. The collard greens were more soggy than I would have liked. The Mac and cheese was good. The spicy sauce was VERY good, as was the sweet sauce. The tangy sauce was just ok. This is a good option for BBQ especially if you want the meats by themselves rather than being put into sandwiches or other dishes.

We were in Sacramento for the day and wanted some bar b que. Did a google and found this place. You order at the bar and can sit inside or outside. We had the brisket and pulled pork and they were some of the best we have ever eaten. We had the cole slaw and mac and cheese for the sides and they were excellent. The mac and cheese was the best we have ever had at a restaurant

We had the brisket and ribs with sides of mac-n- cheese and tater tots. The BBQ was like grocery store fruit. Looked great, but was dissappointly average. The BBQ sauces were extremely watery. The mac-n- cheese was truly disappointing, heavy on the black pepper, and little to no cheesy flavor. Tater tots were awesome, crispy outside tender and soft inside. Overall: Not a bad experience, but not worth the money. There is much better BBQ in Sacramento.
